I think it is common for most parents to teach their kids to save money as that habit will help to carry them throughout their life and it should theoretically discourage them from overspending on non necessities. It definitely helped me seeing my parents budget and allowing me to compare prices at the supermarket as we shopped. But instead of just saving money would you instead teach a person about investing money at a young age?<\/p>\n
This got me thinking as someone was saying how he wanting to teach his child investing when it comes to stock and even crypto currencies as his child currently just keeps his money sitting in the bank while going to school. So the thought process is the child has a good opportunity to learn about investing now with low risk items and it could end up being very good for him. It opens up another income avenue and may encourage him to be more entrepreneurial in the future.<\/p>\n
There is a lot of truth to that as I remember a guy saying when he saw how much a landlord made from renting properties he immediately wanted to find ways to invest his money versus just working at a regular job and saving what little he could. It\u2019s not a bad idea as we don\u2019t really teach people how to invest while in school. The rich people do it.
