I usually drop by a lot of grocery stores on my way to one place as it\u2019s a great habit that saves me a lot of money as I get to see which place has the items for less during the given weekly sale. You can\u2019t just rely on flyers as many times there are in-store deals that simply aren\u2019t advertised or how some stores just sell certain items for less compared to others. But today there was a common scenario where I was thinking of buying some onions and the first store had a bag of red ones, about three pounds, for $2.99 which wasn\u2019t too bad. The white ones were $1.99 which seems to be a regular sale price.<\/p>\n
While I was thinking of getting the red ones, I was going to pass by a few more stores so I was hesitant to purchase it. When I went to the next store there didn\u2019t seem to be a sale for onions which was unfortunate. The third store I went to had the red onions for about $4 a bag. Not the best deal but they did have the white onions for $1.99. So I could have potentially just settled, but what stopped me was all the onions in the store had some bad ones in the bag so I decided not get any and just see what the last store had.<\/p>\n
At the final store, the red ones weren\u2019t as cheap as the first place as it was being sold buy the pound for more. But, they did have bags if white onions that were in good shape and this one was $1.79 a bag. So, I decided to get that. I think ideally, I would have gotten the red bag at the first store. But this wasn\u2019t a bad option for the deal. Just a common scenario of buying what\u2019s on sale for the day as you travel your route and debate if you want to settle for a certain purchase.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
