There was a lot of warning today due to low visibility with a bunch of fog in various areas. This makes driving a car a nightmare in a lot of cases and you could clearly hear people honking at each other constantly. During times like these though, it makes you think on whether or not it\u2019s a good idea to have multiple forms of transportation in case the weather just isn\u2019t cooperating. For example, with low visibility maybe taking the skytrain when possible would be better. A lot of people usually say park the car near a station to then ride the train to save money.<\/p>\n
Or snow is another example where for very short trips perhaps even just walking say fie blocks is better than trying to drive that short distance, find parking, etc. I usually try to have multiple options in general even on regular days such as if traffic accidents happen and certain roads are shut off. Today I actually used the train more and it got me to where I needed to go quickly and painlessly regardless of all the fog.<\/p>\n
They say it may snow next week too so even more reason to have backups if you must travel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
