Usually when relatively unknown companies try to attract talent for their projects, they need to rely on edifying the founder\u2019s reputation such as past experiences with well known companies. For example, if someone was an executive officer for say Google before a lot of people would pay attention to the new company, they are now a part of. This got me thinking today as I saw a breakdown for a project and t hey used such a tactic. In this case though, I did actually recognize the names.<\/p>\n
It seemed like they were trying to get free talent for a project they were hoping to build where they would primarily get the benefit of course. To save money, they were hoping that temporarily working with large companies as part of their resume would motivate people to apply as for many it can be a good networking opportunity at minimum. That was the odd thing though as I knew who they were and the work they did wasn\u2019t really resume worthy. Imagine it like someone saying they worked for Google where their role was literally like an assistant that cleans the place up.<\/p>\n
If anything, for myself they would have probably been better off just being fully transparent about what they wanted as knowing that one tries to in a sense use work like that as if they played a huge role in an organization makes me think what else could they not be fully upfront about?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
