It\u2019s around that time of the ear again to find great deals and with that comes the old inflated retail price number to make the sale look better than it really is. This was a classic example of that where one of the best sellers on Amazon was some kind of walking pad that says its listed price is usually $799.99. Now, they are having a crazy Black Friday sale at $175.99 which is a whopping 78% savings. Instant buy right? From the looks of it, that discount seems to be working to generate sales. But is it really that great?<\/p>\n

Well, when looking at the price history of this product you can clearly see that its highest price is about $289.99 usually with a drop to $175.99 happening more than once. The deal doesn\u2019t sound as great afterwards huh? It\u2019s a reminder that you as the consumer will always have to do your research about a sale as it\u2019s just too easy for companies to inflate the actual discount as they know people are in a mood to buy.<\/p>\n

Usually for big ticket items you have been eyeing on this wouldn\u2019t affect you as I\u2019m sure that means you have been keeping track of prices.
