This video I watched was interesting to think about for large companies and whether or not you should be paying attention to what people are saying about you despite the fact that you feel the person\u2019s opinion doesn\u2019t seem to be affecting your sales numbers. In this case, a well known Youtuber who often stress tests phones and has done Pixel phones in the past where he expresses how despite the flaws he found the company doesn\u2019t bother to change the phone design.<\/p>\n
So this time around, it was a first for him as the batteries caught on fire while bending the phone. Immediately a lot of people blamed Google for not fixing all the flaws that was brought up in the past and the Youtuber even expressed how they must have in some way seen or gotten the information from his videos considering how big he is.<\/p>\n
I would be inclined to say, Google probably saw it but felt it wasn\u2019t worth their time as no regular consumer is going to do crazy things like that with their phones. But even if that is the case it\u2019s still wise to address the concerns that are brought up. For example, how many times have you seen companies do ridiculous things with products just to show how strong it is? It shows confident in their product and is great PR. Having people nowadays do this stress test and research for you is something you should take advantage of. Because if even they fail to break the phones then you can bet that will increase consumer confidence.<\/p>\n
