Of course today there was a ton of news as a result of Black Friday in the US. I saw one clip where a guy bought like over 6 microwaves which was kind of over the top I thought. There were actually many stores here who decided to run sales events too to try and encourage shoppers to shop locally.<\/p>\n
One thing I thought was interesting is how I noticed a smaller specialty shop that was selling a popular electronic device that was almost 40% below the MSRP price. I know that businesses make virtually nothing on these types of devices too as they usually rely on add ons to generate the revenue. If this was advertised in a big chain store there would have probably been people camping out the day before to get the deal.<\/p>\n
Funny enough, the item remained unsold. I was almost thinking of just buying it to resell it. Sure goes to show you that looking for those specialty shops or smaller businesses can give you way less headache if you are looking to avoid gigantic crowds while at the same time can end up getting a better deal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
