Recently Amazon announced that all prime members can opt in to get a free DoorDash membership that enables free delivery for its services. It used to be bust for a year, but apparently now it is permanent as long as you have a prime membership. It makes me wonder how many more customers each business has brought in with this as even from a consumer point of view it\u2019s a great value proposition.<\/p>\n
Amazon has been doing that for awhile such as with their prime gaming benefits where you can literally download full retail games for free as well as frequently offering redemption bonuses for various games. It\u2019s almost like people would actually subscribe just for those benefits versus for the shipping and shopping as an example.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve never been involved establishing business partnerships like these as it\u2019s almost like becoming a subsidiary of the other. Maybe that\u2019s what may happen in these cases where if the larger company loves the setup so much they may just buy the other company out. It spoils me as the consumer where I would expect other companies to offer more than just one service for those annual fees now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
