I know people often dedicate parts of their home such as their basements a rental suite to help out with life expenses or at the same time it can act as a mortgage helper to speed up payments. A lot of the people I knew growing up did just that as a way to provide a home for the family and it can make more sense than renting. But today I was gearing a person who went to the extreme I guess you could say where he rents out as many parts of his properties as possibility while living with only say a room or two as that is all he needs.<\/p>\n
In some ways, it\u2019s almost like someone living with roommates except he gets a lot of monthly income from renting his spaces to the point where he doesn\u2019t even have to work a regular career. A few years of doing this and he can pretty much retire better off than most people on top of the fact that he could do this forever pretty much.<\/p>\n
Is there a disadvantage? I would imagine privacy is a big one and you can\u2019t exactly have a family this way. But by that time he even said he would just buy a dedicated place for the family of that path came up. The fact that he wasn\u2019t even worried about it was amazing on its own. But it sure makes you think if we all waste too much money on housing that we don\u2019t truly need or at the same time have but fail to leverage as a viable income source.<\/p>\n
It’s like running a business with a huge building and the majority of the space is always unused. That for sure would seem like a waste right? But when it comes to our personal life we tend to overlook any kind of resource management in the same way even though it would probably help a lot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
