This was an interesting post I read from Kevin O\u2019Leary today where he expressed how buying a home with someone you have only been dating for a long time is \u201cfinancial suicide\u201d. Generally speaking, if things don\u2019t work out you can imagine the mess that would create. Though it makes me wonder, should you even live together in general unless you tied the knot and were planning to build a life together?<\/p>\n
There is one important argument where you have to live together in order to make sure you can tolerate and support each other on a regular basis. For example, seeing people without any glam and times when they don\u2019t seem to be the most energetic. I have heard horror stories too of people living together for so long that the person who doesn\u2019t actually own the property essentially gets common-law partners protection and again you can imagine the mess that creates.<\/p>\n
Like there, you could still be in a dating relationship but refuse to live with the person as if you are married. Would you actually do that for legal protection or have some kind of agreement written beforehand?
