My Internet contract is expiring soon after two years as usually this time it\u2019s good to shop around as that is often the only way to get the best deal. A lot of providers won\u2019t offer you any good deals unless they know you are leaving as an example. So you need to cancel the service and be prepared to switch. That is what was surprising as I didn\u2019t do anything yet but I got a call from a worker telling me I have some renewal offers.<\/p>\n
I wasn\u2019t available at the time but the person left a message. His choice of words was interesting as he was expressing there was an offer that is \u201calmost the same\u201d as to what I am currently paying. That would be too bad as I have a good deal now, but that choice of word made it sound like it is indeed more expensive to the point where I should still shop around. Wouldn\u2019t it be better to just say as an example that they have a great renewal offer for me and to encourage me to have a discussion for them?<\/p>\n
