I was reading how in California they have essentially declared a state of emergency because of the fear of bird flu spreading amongst people and the first thing that came to mind is whether or not we are going to have a repeat of just a few years ago with things like lockdown. Granted I am located in a different country, but since the US is so close to us you can bet any lockdown procedures would likely spread here fast if more places adopt the emergency procedure.<\/p>\n
At this point I think I am fully prepared for any kind of lockdown and I would imagine they wouldn\u2019t repeat what happened last time such as school closures as even now it\u2019s being discussed how a lot of the procedures that were implemented actually did more harm than good in some cases. There isn\u2019t much to buy as an example as I have the basics. The only debate is if I want stuff that is better than just the basics such as a better computer if I am going to end up having to do heavier workload.<\/p>\n
I more fascinated to see if we learned from the past too such as if people focus on the vulnerable versus the healthy. I can imagine in this case house pets will be the target of a lot of fear too. I suppose this would be an odd start to 2025 if it ends up being like the previous years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
