There were severe windstorms here today that knocked out power for a lot of people including some I know who happen to run consulting businesses out of their homes. Because of that, they were offline for the most part as they had to conserve power for all their electronic devices that they are dependent on such as the computer and phone. There were even some saying how they have less than 5% power left on the phone and so they will be checking out for the day.<\/p>\n
I suppose having some kind of backup power or generator during emergencies isn\u2019t a top priority for many in normal circumstances let alone someone that uses their home as an office. This is literally the equivalent to a restaurant not having any backup power to the point where you have to shut down and lose a whole day worth of revenue.<\/p>\n
For this case too one of those backup power supplies usually go for about $100 to $300 depending on the capacity. But if all the person really needed was to run the phone and computer it would be more than enough for a small investment. It\u2019s usually only after someone experiences a situation like this when they decide to buy solutions for it.
