I noticed recently that the local supermarket as having a sale with chicken breasts and pork tenderloin and I knew a few people who would ne interested in it so I went to pay a visit. Sure enough, there were a lot of them and it was crazy to see the prices in comparison to how much you would pay for frozen prepared meals and of course dining out. For the pork tenderloin I remember trying a small packaged item that was frozen and marinated where because it was precooked it I supposed to be more convenient in cooking. This package contained about a pound of pork which usually lists for about $12 but was on sale for $7. Sounds great right? But with this fresh deal the price was even cheaper of course and you could get so much more. You have to cook it yourself all the way, but look at how much you save right?<\/p>\n
Similarly, the chicken seemed like a great deal as well. In this case too, since it came with the bone and all a lot of people can actually do more with it such as making soup. The packages each had about three chicken breasts for about $5.50 in total and I couldn\u2019t help but to think how you could easily spend say $15 dining out a restaurant after tips and all versus just making it yourself here. I say it to people many times where just shopping for deals and making your own meals can save so much money. I hear many say you just can\u2019t do that with fresh food but I tend to always find deals like these.<\/p>\n
You just need to get into the habit of looking at what\u2019s on sale and being flexibility on preparing meals based on what the deals are going to be. Almost similar to restaurants that change menus based on what\u2019s in season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
