So today I was looking around for various companies to potentially work with for a project as I don\u2019t currently know anyone that fits the bill 100% and figured it wouldn\u2019t hurt to see what is out there. I visited a site which had a fairly newer company but they seemed to emphasize how much experience they have had in other industries. A good sign I suppose huh? As usual, I tend to look at the company bio pages to read a little more about the people in charge. At first it seemed fairly standard. However, on the navigation there was an \u201cAbout Us 2\u201d which seemed to be another page.<\/p>\n
When I clicked on that there were so much more staff members to the point where this looked like a large and established company. However, all of the bios didn\u2019t have links to social media sites but rather had links to sites like Wix. I then immediately realized what happened. Apparently, the business was using a template to create their site and this staff page was a default one where people usually use it as reference on what the site can look like. It is not meant to be published as is publicly.<\/p>\n
So that got me thinking, do errors like this cause you to immediately write off companies? It\u2019s almost the same scenario as seeing a document drafted by a lawyer having spelling errors where many people would say you can\u2019t trust lawyers that produce errors like that. Then there are others who will just see it as a minor issue that happens to everyone at some point. To think something so small can have such a huge impact on whether or not someone chooses to do business with you huh?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
