Today I went into a store with the intent of buying a piece of gear that was on sale as I was waiting for a Black Friday drop to make the plunge. Checking online I saw that its physical store had the item in stock and so I decided to go and buy it. Tomy surprise the price listed in the store was the regular retail price. I asked the employee if there were price differences between the stores and its online site in which they said there wasn\u2019t. <\/p>\n
So after showing them the online price the person mentioned it was just marked as the regular retail price as it was a display. That was odd as usually businesses invest time to clearly mark the item\u2019s price for the week. Especially if it\u2019s a sale to attract customers who wouldn\u2019t have known otherwise as they would simply leave or go elsewhere looking for a sale.<\/p>\n
My only thought is that it\u2019s a smaller business that specifically focuses on certain products where they expect the customer base to be knowledgeable. Even a simple digital display of the week\u2019s current flyer nearby would be adequate if they don\u2019t have the man power to change prices all the time I thought.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
