This was actually a very interesting business topic I thought whereas consumers we often yell at companies on how they don\u2019t push certain talent but neglect to think there could be a behind the scenes issue with the person. For this example, I was recently reading how a wrestling company called AEW recently terminated the contract for its wrestler CM Punk. He was a huge deal before having a lot of success with a bigger company notably the WWE.<\/p>\n

During his time in the WWE he had an extremely controversial live segment where it seemed like he simply just spoke his mind and attacked the company for not promoting talent like himself more. It\u2019s one of those situations where people complain companies frequently overlook great talent because the executives are clueless. On the flip side, people were saying how CM Punk was difficult to work with and often caused trouble.<\/p>\n

So with this recent incident apparently he had an altercation backstage with another talent which resulted in the executives deciding to terminate his contract. I read he was also suspended previously for another issue. So that\u2019s why this was fascinating as most average people don\u2019t factor in how the talent is when it comes to getting along with everyone else in the company. It\u2019s similar to how many times companies don\u2019t want to hire talented people if they know they will be difficult to work with.<\/p>\n

You could argue in this example it simply wasn\u2019t worth the risk as to how much chaos such a person can create for an organization. Especially if you decided to make them an integral part of your operation. That would actually make sense why the WWE never pushed him as hard it seems like if that was a factor.
