This was fascinating to think about where certain parts of the province have an evacuation order currently due to the wildfires with reasonings such as officials need to focus on fighting the fire versus trying to recue someone in trouble because of it as an example. But with that said some people are refusing to leave as they don\u2019t feel firefighters will do enough to actually save their property. So they instead want to stay along with other people to try and contain the fire themselves to protect their properties.<\/p>\n
For the most part one would simply rely on publicly funded solutions to help us in times of needs such as the fire department to help put out large fires or say the police helping us when criminals are attempting to rob you. But with that thought like in these extreme situations do you always invest in ways to try and protect yourself first? I guess for some things people often do such as if you are afraid of being attacked then often people study some form of self defense as an example versus just relying on a police officer to come save them.<\/p>\n
In the case of fires, some people actually do invest heavily in some kind of system to help put out the fires without the need of a fire department. There are limits for example such as I doubt most people would have their own fire hose to connect to a fire hydrant as an example. But I think you should always try to be self sufficient as much as possible as these times demonstrate there will often not be enough public resources to help you when you truly need it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
