There has been a lot of talk lately of people who simply can\u2019t afford to live in Canada due to the rising cost of living. This has also resulted in people making videos that are going viral such as individuals who clear more than fifty thousand a year saying they can\u2019t live comfortably. One thing got me thinking though on how there were some videos of people saying how they have no clue how they spent so much money at the grocery store. That wasn\u2019t just a figure of speech by the looks of it too as it was as if the person\u2019s shopping style was to simply grab what they want while worry about the total at the checkout.<\/p>\n

During hard times it\u2019s even more important to actually check the prices of the items you are buying first while tallying everything up based on your budget before going to the checkout. That\u2019s a habit I have always been accustomed to when shopping. Because many times when you don\u2019t have the luxury to just get whatever you want buying what\u2019s on sale would be the ideal way to go. For example, recently I saw a bunch of deals for avocadoes and kiwis to which I proceeded to buy those as part of my fruit purchases. This is versus buying what\u2019s not on sale.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think people usually order an item at the restaurant without looking at the price first correct? To me it\u2019s the same principle when it comes to say grocery shopping. Otherwise, you are making the situation even harder I would think and during these times when you have to depend on yourself largely to make it work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
