Today reminded me why at times it can be a good habit to visit multiple stores of the same franchise if you are constantly looking for great deals. You would think they would all have the same weekly sale prices to the point where visiting one location is good enough right? But like today there was a section of non flyer items that were on sale such as two litres of natural juice for about two dollars whereas other stores re selling it for almost five dollars.<\/p>\n
It wasn\u2019t a clearance item either. From what I saw, the sale was a manager\u2019s special where for whatever reason that particular store manger wanted those items on sale in hopes to clear it. There was still a good six months before expiry too so maybe they just wanted to get rid of it now. But these manager specials is not something that is advertised and can be just as good as a weekly company wide sale.<\/p>\n
Visiting different stores can be time consuming where as a result this is only really recommended if you have a travel route of sort. Like myself, I walk a lot and often pass by multiple stores so why not? With franchise stores too you often see a few of them in in the city as you go by. I remember when working in a retail store actually my supervisor wanted to get rid of these video games and he literally just asked me what they should be priced to get them to sell.<\/p>\n
Based on the popularity of the item and all I gave prices that would be reasonable to a person like myself while trying to maximize profits. Sure enough, they all sold within a day after and I can imagine other manager specials being like this as well in regards to unadvertised deals that you can find.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
