I was kind of shocked today where I was having a random conversation with a person who talked about the price of items in places like the UK. The Euro is usually really expensive when converted to Canadian dollars to the point where I wouldn\u2019t usually even entertain buying stuff in that currency. However, it was mentioned that the value dropped recently and upon looking at it the price surprised even myself. As of now it was listed at about $1.31 Canadian for every Euro. Even checking the currency against the US dollar, they were virtually the same at 1.02 US per Euro.<\/p>\n

Would that actually encourage you to shop online with stores that charge in Euro now? But the biggest thing is how fast the currency has dropped which I would imagine has largely to do with decisions such as how the economy was locked down. Here there are worries of mass inflation due to directions that were taken as well.<\/p>\n

I know there are people who would start to buy Euros in hopes that it will go up again. Then after they can exchange it back to another currency to get even more money. It would be crazy to see the currency on par with the Canadian dollar if that ever happens.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
