Today was the last day of the PNE fair and I decided to attend as it has been awhile ever since lockdowns were in place. Now in past years there have often been a free admission day in the beginning of the air and the last day. But this time I didn\u2019t hear anything for the last day and so I decided to purchase a ticket online ahead of time. My assumption too is that they have lost a lot of money from previous years where giving away free admissions may not be the best idea.<\/p>\n
So this was the shocker where when I arrived there were staff members asking who wanted a free ticket as they had ample to giveaway it seemed. They were literally at the front entrance asking who wanted one as if they were just handing out flyers. Not surprisingly, a bunch of people were like myself where we purchased a ticket a head of time as we weren\u2019t aware of this offer. The site doesn\u2019t make any mention of it either which makes you wonder if it was just a spur of the moment thing.<\/p>\n
If I actually didn\u2019t buy the ticket ahead of time I would have been able to get it for free. But I believe ordering online would have been cheaper than buying one at the booth. Would an experience like this encourage you to just pay for things like an admission fee on the spot in case there are free deals on the day? I think for myself it would just make me more inclined assume like here the organization will continue with it\u2019s tradition of say giving free admissions on specific days even if it isn\u2019t advertised.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
