I was looking at all these digital book offer on Amazon where they appear to be classic books in digital form that are meant to be used on platforms such as the Amazon Kindle. As you can see, they are all listed for free and there are a lot of them. I don\u2019t foresee actually wanting to read any of them in the near future. But even I was kind of inclined to just take them all since it is digital. Worst case scenario is Amazon goes bankrupt and you don\u2019t have it anymore, right?<\/p>\n

What got me thinking is how if these were hardcover books I could see the argument to not take them as it will require storage where at the same time maybe it\u2019s better to let someone who was actually going to use it take it. But it\u2019s a little odd I think when people use that logic for digital items as technically there should be limitless supply that doesn\u2019t take up any space in your home.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s almost like one is too used to applying principles that are meant for traditional media forms as an example. Would you take them all if it\u2019s free like here even if you don\u2019t see an immediate use for it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
