This was kind of interesting to think about where when it comes to businesses trying to one up each other normally consumers could care less what types of disputes and rivalry they are having amongst each other as they are more worried about the products and services they are receiving. So there was a pizza chain called Yummy Slice Pizza that was offering discounts to celebrate its anniversary. Noe normally people who would eat a lot of pizza would jump at the opportunity for a discount. But I was then reading some comments of people saying that everyone should avoid that franchise as they have a dispute with another business.<\/p>\n
The legal dispute apparently deals with another company called Freshslice pizza where in various reports the owners of Yummy Slice Pizza were old franchisees of that chain only to then change their branding to Yummy Slice. I guess an example would be imagine someone owning say a McDonalds\u2019 franchise and the next day they completely change everything branding wise while still offering items such as burgers and fries.<\/p>\n
Therefore, a lot of people are expressing how they feel the company is unethical per se. Maybe it\u2019s an easy way to try and transfer the benefit of running the pizza business with the brand recognition before and now by cutting that out they can make more money? I suppose some people would see it like say a person they helped only to get betrayed. But that\u2019s interesting to see how even customers are semi in tune with business disputes like that as a purchasing decision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
