This was an interesting business strategy for a start up I thought where they always had a dream of opening a restaurant but as you can imagine it can be expensive to start up. For example, leasing a space for your operation alone can be a hefty bill. That\u2019s why some of tactics I was reading was interesting where nowadays many people order food from restaurants through apps such as Uber Eats. So they technically don\u2019t need an actual storefront where they could theoretically just deliver food items.<\/p>\n
But in this case what some people did was that they came up with an agreement with other restaurants where they would share the kitchen space at times. I know a lot of people share office address and spaces where that seems practical if all you need it for is mail and the occasional meeting space. It must be crazy running two different restaurant businesses together like this in the long term.<\/p>\n
Apparently for a lot of those businesses they only operate for specific times in the evening. In that sense I suppose it could work such as if you are only making pizzas for a certain amount of time to be delivered. I would wonder though, at that stage of a growth would you as the customer care if they simply used their own home to prepare the meals that are then delivered?<\/p>\n
A lot of people even just run their food businesses from a food truck as well. But I suppose if you can make it work where everyone benefits then the more options available the better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
