This was an interesting thought as recently a person was telling me how another individual was learning how to drive and to do so they were taking driving lessons. That isn\u2019t odd as many people do that where some just learn better with the help of say a professional. But what made it interesting was that the person taking the lessons wasn\u2019t spending their own money that they earned from working. Instead, the person was in a relationship with another and she is essentially using his money. So every week she would hire a driving instructor to drive around where apparently it\u2019s been going on for almost a year already.<\/p>\n
Can you imagine how much that costs? The comment brought up was how if the person just needs practice then they should simply drive around the area whenever they can to get more practice. However, the assumption is that since she isn\u2019t really using her own money she is willing to take more lessons as it doesn\u2019t affect her financially per se. <\/p>\n
It made me think generally how this can actually interesting in regards to finance and education. Many times we can learn some kind of skill by simply doing it like how many people did before when there was no such thing as a teacher for a particular subject. When you don\u2019t have any money you pretty much have to do it by practising. There are advantages to getting professional instruction of course where in theory you should be able to learn what took them years to discover, but maybe sometimes you have to put yourself in the mindset as if you truly can\u2019t spend a penny.<\/p>\n
That way you will be more resourceful and inclined to find all the free methods you can first to get the skills you need. I think gym memberships could actually be a similar example where if you didn\u2019t have any money you would probably find alternative methods to get fit such as hiking or using the monkey bars at a park to do chin ups. Although some parks actually have free exercise machines too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
