It\u2019s unusual where usually when companies reveal a product it would be out in a few months as the next step is marketing and distribution.<\/p>\n<p>One person theorized was that the company actually doesn\u2019t have a product ready where instead it\u2019s used as market research to gauge interest and sales potential.  If they see there is a lot of positive response where people are ready to pre-order then the will start to seriously develop the product.  If they don\u2019t see that it is getting a lot of attention, then in the future they can just say due to unforeseen circumstances the product has been cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>It sounds like a sneaky way to try and get all the benefit with less risk.
