I was reading this article that was fascinating where it talked about how someone in the virtual world essentially got sexually harassed by another person where people should treat it just as serious as if it happened in real life. For example, apparently here the person was groped virtually by another user where if this happened in real life most likely perpetrator could be disciplined such as fired from a job.<\/p>\n

You then have some people debating how the virtual world isn\u2019t reality as even in the future when people start to use it more for a business you could see crazy antics such as an avatar throwing items like a cake at another person. Would that be considered assault as an example? This is uncharted territory in many ways which makes me curious how it will pan out.<\/p>\n

I do remember a news report that had people playing an online game called The Sims where they were literally arguing with each other on national TV about \u201cgriefing\u201d one another such as destroying their virtual belongings. It almost sounded like gangs were being developed as well. Will there be any difference in the future when it comes to policing people on how they behave online?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
