Since there has been a ton of news about storms and roads being destroyed around the area a lot of people are hoarding food and essentials for fear that the supply chain will simply collapse in the next few weeks. Overall it shouldn\u2019t be an issue for people around this particular area, but despite that it seems like fear is overtaking a lot of people\u2019s behaviours and this is noticeable in the supermarket as various shelves in particular sections are empty.<\/p>\n
It got me thinking where even if you are someone who knows there shouldn\u2019t be a problem, when you see all these empty shelves are you inclined to start buying things as well just in case there truly will be nothing left as a result of people hoarding? Or would you actually stay calm believing that items will be refilled by the time you require to purchase whatever the item may be?<\/p>\n
For myself, I think the key is to always have some backup storage regardless of whether or not some kind of potential disaster has just occurred. That way you won\u2019t be put in a position where you have to buy stuff now. In this case with these empty bread shelves, sure enough they were filled up pretty quickly the next day.
