It\u2019s pretty common to receive proposals from companies who are interested in having me test out some kind of product within my area of expertise which in itself is perfectly normal. But what I noticed a lot lately is that overseas companies have been hiring marketing firms to go out and scout for prospects whom they feel would be a perfect fit for some kind of partnership. That\u2019s when I noticed they all shared a similar business pitch that is unusual as no one really talks the way they write here.<\/p>\n
For example, they would say things such as they are seeking my \u201ccooperation\u201d with a new product they have. They continue to use that word such as asking what kind of cooperation requirements are necessary to move forward. It definitely didn\u2019t sound like a local native English speaker who was writing these requests.<\/p>\n
But the main thing is how when I see companies using a template of sort it kind of drops the level of trust in terms of their authenticity where this is simply a case of contact one thousand people and see who responds sort of deal. It should only take a few minutes to at least try and customize your message a little bit too if you are using a template.
