Usually as a consumer the thought on whether or not we will regret a purchase on a high ticket item as an example constantly floats the mind before making a big decision. Who wants to pay $2000 for an item just to have it be obsolete in a year as an example right? Sometimes it is inevitable though as companies release new items all the time that make previous generations look outdated. But does a company ever concerned about this where they could potentially make a large base of their customer mad by releasing new and better stuff quickly?<\/p>\n
It got me thinking as I was just reading how the company Canon announced this camera called the EOS R3 where a lot of people are saying they simply didn\u2019t announce their true flagship for fear that people who bought the previous latest and greatest have only had it for a year. Therefore people theorized that they are holding back. Then people were commenting how companies shouldn\u2019t care if they make people mad in this way as that is how fast tech items usually move. So holding back your best doesn\u2019t make sense.<\/p>\n
It makes you wonder what the right balance there is. I know a lot of companies often sit on new products if their existing products are still selling well too. In the end too you can\u2019t make everyone happy I suppose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
