Not too long ago I got contacted by a person as they told me they knew a business that needed help creating some items. Since I was the first one they thought of my name was passed to them. I wondered initially how that came up as apparently this business was a place that they have a membership and is a customer. They told me ahead of time that they were willing to have a decent budget as well.<\/p>\n
Funny enough I actually had this feeling that the business wasn\u2019t too serious. But in the end the person told me they would contact me later in the day. Sure enough, no one from the company ended up contacting me. One of the assumptions I had afterwards, which happens a lot, is how since the person I knew was a customer with them the business probably just said they would be interested to get on better terms.<\/p>\n
I guess an example would be if someone really wanted to work with a specific individual and then was told that the person\u2019s son\/daughter has a great product they may be interested in then for sure they would just say they are open to seeing it as a way to build rapport. Even if they realistically have no intentions to do anything. A common business tactic I have seen and if anything can be a good way to test one\u2019s integrity I guess you can say.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
