Usually in the new years for many people on a personal level that means making promises to oneself to transform parts of their life in order to show a better self to themselves and the world. For example, people wanting to lose weight or gain muscle which means a better diet and exercise routine. With that thought, I often hear for businesses that this is usually the time where one would consider re-branding themselves with all new materials. For example, a logo redesign or website makeover. But what if it doesn\u2019t seem like you need it?<\/p>\n
That was the interesting debate as I was hearing one person say similar to characters on a television series you should always look to re-inventing yourself as people evolve every day and so should you as well. Otherwise you risk being left behind as everyone else begins to essentially use modern day techniques and communication styles that relate to the new generation better. So in that sense one would argue even if it doesn\u2019t seem like you should one should be doing it anyways.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s kind of interesting when you put it that way. Because changing something like a logo can probably mean massive expense as well where you have to update every piece of material you have. Do you really need a yearly makeover for your business identity each year? I personally would feel it would be more about potentially expanding into other things which maybe more important.
