The common sense thing to do is to upgrade everything immediately in order to patch up any security holes. So while I did that I assumed that everything would work as normal. Was I ever wrong there. However, his probably did only occur once I did the security update. One of the key points it made me think was how this is why you often see so many businesses continue to use the same old system and outdated tech to run their business. Because changing one thing can literally cause a complete stop to your business if there are compatibility issues.

In these cases though fortunately I always have a backup incase something goes wrong. Always have a plan to revert things back immediately too until you figure out what is wrong. They often say if it isn’t broken then don’t fix it huh? Although there are times where you have to eventually catch-up with modern tech.

It seems recently Microsoft had a bunch of critical security updates which required a bit of time to upgrade.
