For a ton of traditional retail business that don\u2019t have an online presence it seems like you pretty much need one nowadays with most people staying home and opting for online shopping to meet their needs. Even restaurants that don\u2019t normally need such a solution have partnered up with delivery apps to try and adapt to the situation as an example.<\/p>\n
It did make me think how if you do have a store even having something as simple as an in-store pickup option can probably generate a lot of extra business for you. Recently I needed to buy this small replacement part that costs about $15. The shipping was actually about $10 unless I bought something over $50. Clearly no worth it. But they did have a free in-store shipping option which made it free to pick up and was a definite advantage versus others who just had an online presence while charging high shipping rates.<\/p>\n
