In seeing the package picture I knew that other fruit products of the same brad were usually about $3.50.  So $2 didn\u2019t seem too bad.  When I arrived at the store though one bag of these, which was about 400g, was priced at almost $5 a bag.  Talk about expensive I thought.<\/p>\n<p>You would think frozen items would be cheaper compared to fresh ones.  But even from past experiences that usually isn\u2019t the case.  Going to the grocery section you could even buy a large watermelon for about $5 as a non-sale price.  That would give you easily over five times more product as an example.  It\u2019s almost like the difference between dining out versus cooking your own food.<\/p>\n<p>I usually assume packaged food items are a lot more expensive as you are paying for convenience.  But oddly enough my first thought is food that is fresher should be more expensive.
