I was reading some news today how the supermarket T&T was going to implement temperature checking on all its customers before they can enter the store. Essentially, you would have this device pointed at you where I would imagine if you go over to something that is considered fever range then you would be asked not to enter the store. It did make me wonder if anyone would actually be turned off by this to the point where they won’t even enter the store.

It reminds me of something I learned in the retail business where apparently customers are more likely to purchase the items if they can actually physically touch the box as an example. This is versus having strict security procedures where everything is locked up inside a case and at the same time held in a clear storage shelf of some sort that I unreachable. Like with that situation too if you actually give the customer the ability to even hold the product in the locked case they are more inclined to purchase it.

That kind of taught me that there is such a thing as being too strict to the point where it does turn people off in making purchases. So it makes you wonder with this coronavirus stuff on how much is too much that would will tolerate in terms of a safety protocol before they feel unwelcomed to shop. To me personally though this temperature thing is okay.
