This virus has made a lot of people irrational in more ways than one it seem. I guess the most recent event is how people are apparently buying a ton of toilet paper to the point where you would think it\u2019s like Black Friday just to sell that one specific item. From the interviews I have seen store managers were saying it is crazier than Black Friday as they can\u2019t keep the shelves stocked. To my understanding people are afraid that supply will run out.<\/p>\n

One interesting thing is looking online the prices and stock seem to be at a normal level. In comparison, physical stores seem to have the biggest challenges with stock. It makes you wonder if that is simply due to the audience type where maybe people who shop online spend more time reading about the issue from various sources versus maybe watching one newscast about the virus and deciding it is an emergency.<\/p>\n

Some people were even saying they were just buying a ton because everyone else was too. Almost virtually no different than when people shop at a sales events where everyone else buying stuff makes you want to buy stuff as well. Maybe that was the plan all along huh with smart marketing? Then again, to me it shows how when you shop many times you can\u2019t just blindly follow what the crowd is doing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
