However, the surgery to help save it will cost well over $1000 and so with that thought they were thinking of putting it down still.<\/p>\n<p>That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s actually a common dilemma I often hear too.  I guess the situation really depends on whether a pet to someone is more like a member of the family or an additional household acquaintance.  Some may argue for example that when it comes to pets you can quickly get attached to a new one which would usually be less expensive than paying surgery costs.<\/p>\n<p>I think $2000 would sound like a threshold limit as $1000 sounds like it can be fairly common to raise.
