Today my parents were apparently having trouble trying to replace a battery on a phone. It is a portable home phone where even when it is fully charged it only lasts a few minutes which means the battery has pretty much reached the end of its lifespan. This phone was over six years old or so too which would make sense. The reason they couldn\u2019t open it is because it essentially has one of those lithium batteries that aren\u2019t meant to be replaced so easily.<\/p>\n
Upon inspecting it though I noticed some weird things. I wanted to make a call to my cell phone just to see how fast the battery drains. As I was dialing the numbers I noticed that some weren\u2019t registering. After trying a few more times I realized that for certain keys you had to actually press down real hard on it. Talk about wear and tear. This phone is pretty much worn out in so many ways.<\/p>\n
Even if you were to replace the battery, with all the problems it just seems like a better idea to get a new phone. I know many times you should try and truly get everything out of what you have until it\u2019s completely unusable. In these cases though it just makes sense financially too to get something that will save you so much more time and headache which translate to money on its own.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
