I was so fascinated recently of a person who created a fair amount of demand for his online course mainly because the industry he was in was currently booming. From what I gather he talked about how to navigate through various courses to get certification in that particular industry where his sources are simply the material that is provided by the testing agency. He just rewards what is already there for the most part.

However, he brands himself as the expert authority on the subject matter. As it turns out he generated a lot of sales for his courses this way. The funny thing out of all this is how this guy isn’t even certified himself apparently. It’s almost lie someone selling you a course on how to play a certain sport when they never even stepped into the field themselves ever. It just shows you the power of branding and perception huh?

That’s usually why as a regular consumer I usually want to see the actual work or accomplishments that a person did as opposed to going by the notion that hey imply they are the number one person. But it shows you in business it can be very easy for people to portray themselves as an expert to sell anything for a profit.
