I had an unexpected surprise today. As I was just reading the news I found an article that talked about how some filmmakers visited the city here in Vancouver apparently and created a video about it. I suppose it was good enough to be published on a media news site so I decided to check it out. What I saw was indeed shocking. It turned out that these people literally stole one of my work and incorporated it into their piece. They actually made it appear as if they captured it. To make it even more blatant they even tried to cut parts out of the video that had my watermark on it.<\/p>\n
There were some other revelations I found out about this that was disturbing, but it sure makes you wonder what would you do in these situations? I often read when it comes to bigger corporations they can often have the sue happy attitude where I don\u2019t doubt they can due since they have dedicated departments for it. But would you do that as a regular individual? In some ways I feel I need to do something just based on principles.<\/p>\n
While I wouldn\u2019t want to go too far it\u2019s a little troublesome, based on the facts I highly doubt they would actually be truly sorry in any shape or form. They may remove but I can only imagine they may do it again to others. That\u2019s the only part of me that would want to see them prosecuted as an example. But then again I know some people that would just leave it. It makes you wonder what the right decision is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
