Business can often be a shark eat shark world and it\u2019s not surprising that bad blood can usually develop where competitors will try almost anything to get rid of the competition. But this one example made me think how some people just don\u2019t think about how their actions can be creating them more enemies. Essentially there was a person that disliked a competitor so much that they started to actually do things that would disrupt one of its local suppliers. That would cause them headaches in getting the resources they need to do business of course. While they think it is brilliant there are actually a ton of other businesses that rely on the same supplier. So you can imagine when they found out who the person was you bet they just made a ton more enemies per se.<\/p>\n
Would you think that is worth it for that one business just to get at another? Aside from the ethical issue I\u2019m surprised that people actually don\u2019t look at the whole picture before doing something like that. It\u2019s almost like deciding to vandalize a community because you know this one guy goes there all the time without thinking about everyone else that goes there as well. I\u2019m almost inclined to say if you aren\u2019t confident in competing with another business on an even playing field then maybe you are in the wrong line of work.<\/p>\n
Then again, I guess just being plain ruthless is a factor that many use to win. But if your success comes as a result of essentially making the whole world mad at you I\u2019m not sure how pleasant it will be when no one wants to do business with you in various categories that you rely on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
