A lot of retailers nowadays seem to have some kind of membership deal where by paying some kind of annual fee you can get products cheaper than what a non-member would pay. I have noticed this more even in grocery stores where many times it just makes me go to a place that is usually cheaper even without a membership. But it got me thinking where with events like Amazon Prime day you need to have a membership and as a result you have a ton of people signing up even if it is just for the trial period to take advantage of the offers.<\/p>\n
One thing that many people overlook is like in this example it is highly likely that you have someone in your immediate social circle who does have a membership and therefore they can get the item for you. I think the example for myself is I know a few people who have Costco memberships and they always ask people that don\u2019t if they would like them to buy something for them. As long as you are not crazy in your requests most people don\u2019t mind.<\/p>\n
You never know as maybe they can get you stuff with their memberships in various places too. It\u2019s almost like being friends with people saves everyone money. I guess sometimes we just feel weird as we don\u2019t want to come across as using people. But if it is just for like a big sales event for a specific item I think people are happy to do it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
