I often see tons of businesses wanting to have a mailing address in the busy downtown core because from the outside you will automatically assume that anyone with an address in the big city must be a big business. It was fascinating to hear how for one person they have their office address far away from the main city as it is essentially their small business. This shouldn’t be an issue if a company hired them though since they can literally travel for the job at no extra expense to the customer. Despite this no one was calling them.

It wasn’t until they actually had one of those virtual office address where you essentially rent an address and phone number from a business where it almost makes it look as if your office is actually located in the big city. When they did this businesses started to contact them. They literally didn’t change anything about their operation. But having this extra address just made people feel like they were actually doing business with a local person. Even though again the business still would have traveled to meet.

I suppose it shows you how even having an extra mailing address in a specific city you wish to do business in can go a long way in getting customer attention.
