This was kind of funny the other day where awhile ago I helped an older gentleman create a website for free where he wanted to simply pass on some of his knowledge to the world while potentially finding prot\u00e9g\u00e9s of sort to potentially carry on his work. As it turned out he did get inquiries through the site but he actually never really bothered to follow up. That was a surprise to me of course since it\u2019s pretty much what he wanted.<\/p>\n
So while I was talking to him the other day he was actually expressing how he had a website where people were contacting him and he doesn\u2019t know how that came to be. Of course you can imagine my shock as I told him I was the one that helped him make it awhile ago. You should see how surprised he was. I guess his memories aren\u2019t exactly the best at his age but it was interesting to me how because he got it for free that probably made him not want to treat it seriously.<\/p>\n
I would guaranteed if someone charged him two thousand dollars and he made the decision to pay and go through with it you better believe he will want to get his money\u2019s worth. It\u2019s interesting how at times getting things for free could actually be making us lazy in a sense to do things huh? I guess the easy way to solve that is to try and dip your toes in a little to whatever it is that you are receiving where if you have some appreciation at the amount of work and effort it takes then you are more likely to treat it as if you spent money on it as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
