Imagine you are starting out where to achieve what you want you need a team of people. However, you can\u2019t afford to do so and so you reach out to people within your social circle to see if anyone is willing to help you out pro bono for the time being. A person was telling me how he tried this where ultimately for everyone he asked that agreed to help out less than two percent of them actually followed through with that promise. So because of that he was expressing that now whenever he needs people he will at least offer some kind of honorarium compensation where people will then take it seriously.<\/p>\n
In many ways that is true. When you think about it many times the people close to you will simply say yes even though they don\u2019t want to do it to avoid conflict. So not surprisingly something comes up in the end where they can\u2019t make it. Offering some kind of compensation though can often make people take it more seriously where they will then treat it like an actual job. As well it does make it more like a legitimate business of sort where you are trying to compensate people.<\/p>\n
I guess on the other hand my thought would be if you are truly starting out and wanting to find a team maybe it should be about finding the right partners who are actually passionate about the subject and are willing to invest their time with you to hopefully reap the great rewards once everything is finished. That would be like people are working for equity where people know the risk is basically time for the most part. But giving people something is not a bad approach as to just expecting people to do everything for free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
