Today while at the supermarket I was looking for some items for my mom as my dad was actually with me. My mom wanted these Gobo roots which I wasn\u2019t too familiar with but my dad knew a lot about it. As we went to the supermarket we found the Gobo roots and to me price wise I had no real knowledge of what a good deal was for this stuff. You could get about two of them in a package where the price worked out to about $2 a pound. It seemed cheap enough to me. But my dad then said the best price is usually about one dollar a pound. We ended up not buying it as he knew of a store that would be opened the next day that does sell the items at that price.<\/p>\n
The funny thing I was thinking was how I did what many people would do in these situations where they just initially focus on how cheap the dollar amount is in itself to determine if they should buy it. Instead you really should have a good knowledge base of the sale prices that items can regularly drop to. It can actually make you stop and think if you truly need the item so bad right now that it can\u2019t wait a day knowing you can save 50% off your purchase as an example.<\/p>\n
Knowing the prices can be the immediate incentive you need to motivate you to be patient as well as opposed to just telling yourself that you can\u2019t spend money as if you are grounding yourself. It\u2019s always better to approach it in a way where you legitimately feel great making the better valued purchase by having patience for the best offers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
