For myself I have a lot of hobbies and interest in the area of arts and technology where as it would appear a lot of people seem to want services in these areas. For example, capturing and editing videos where for me it is more of a hobby than anything. But very often I get asked to do things professionally for people where because I don\u2019t exactly treat it like a business people would ask if I can do it for them as work.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I would answer hesitantly such as \u201csort of\u201d because even though I have all the technical skills to do it professionally I don\u2019t treat it like a business. But it got me thinking how if you really want to start doing things professionally for money like in this case then you have to get used to saying \u201cyes\u201d instead of \u201csort of\u201d as an example. You\u2019d be surprised at how many times you\u2019d probably lose an opportunity by not just saying yes to questions like that.<\/p>\n
People are often looking for someone right away too in these scenarios. I guess it would be awkward kind of like if you just cook for friends and family where everyone loves it and one day this restaurant owner asks if you can cook. You would probably give a doubtful response despite the fact that you are more than capable of doing it. Like there it\u2019s probably better to change the attitude to \u201cyes, I can\u201d and see what kind of opportunities can open up as opposed to shutting them down.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
