Recently I bought a gift for a family member through the site Groupon where from my research it was actually the cheapest option to get a membership through one of its deals. So that was pretty much my shopping where like most of the time I know what I want and then leave. Because of the purchase I guess the company wanted me to buy more as they gave me a $10 off coupon for me next order. That\u2019s a pretty hefty coupon as there are a ton of deals that are say $12 which would be great. However, upon reading the fine print there was a $30 minimum purchase.<\/p>\n
A part of me is saying $10 is a lot of money to save as it feels so wasteful in not using it. At the same time that means I have to spend $20 that I had no intention of spending before which wouldn\u2019t seem wise. This is a type of financial discipline you need to develop where many times just because your coupon is giving you a pretty good discount it should come down to how much are you spending in the end? Like here it would only make sense if I was actually going to get something anyways. But instead I would have to make myself get something that I don\u2019t need which means it better to ignore the coupon.<\/p>\n
With that said my next option is to just ask around if anyone had any intent to actually get anything form that site. Free $10 off a $30 purchase coupon. That way everyone benefits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
